Cindy Tran is a Project Designer at Holland Licensed Interior Design. Her professional experience lies in high-end residential design, having spent the past four years working at nationally recognized firms before joining Holland. She also interned at a commercial office furnishings firm, gaining skills in systems furniture planning and FF&E specifications. Her expertise includes conceptual development, hand sketching, 3D modelling and rendering, finish selections, and producing presentation layouts.
She holds a Bachelor of Interior Design from Mount Royal University, graduating with numerous academic accolades, including the Interior Design Faculty Scholarship, the Dialog Design Award, and consistent placements on the Dean’s and President’s Honour Rolls.
Cindy believes that impactful design is rooted in storytelling. It should be experiential and encourage people to actually use and interact with space rather than simply observing it. She is extremely collaborative, valuing fresh perspectives and open communication to create layered, meaningful environments.
As the world becomes increasingly digital, Cindy believes that physical spaces will become more cherished and appreciated, with future designs aimed at maximizing inspiration, experience, and engagement. She is committed to research and leveraging technology, such as 3D visualization and AI, to effectively translate imaginative concepts into reality with greater ease.
Beyond design, Cindy has a deep love for photography, and composing shots has improved her design-eye and ability to create balance and visual interest. She is also an avid traveler and sketch artist, frequently drawing inspiration from new places and experiences.
